Dan & Julie | Chase Park Plaza Hotel
Dan proposed at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel in the exact spot where he and Julie kissed for the very first time. The engagement photos for this couple were naturally taken in this same locale, offering just a hint of what their Wedding would be like.
And so, when that remarkably beautiful September afternoon finally arrived, walking through the Chase Park Plaza Hotel with Dan and Julie again sparked memories for us, yet for them each step was rich with meaning. We absolutely loved photographing them in this area of the Central West End.
The Wedding details were a study in classic style, with their Bridal Party in black and white. Black bow ties with white hydrangeas and roses combined to compliment the robust architecture and feel of the Chase Park Plaza Hotel.
The Wedding began with a simple ceremony beneath a stone archway near the pool, with only their closest friends and family. The sun set as they said their vows, their joy competing as the golden glimmer of the sun languidly sank. Poolside, the water and palm trees added to the unique event, causing us to almost forget where we were at moments as that gorgeous golden lighting cast across the scene.
On the patio adjacent to the pool the reception began, string lights and a live band, complete with baby grand piano, set the stage for a lively celebration for this wonderful couple.
We are honored to see this Chase Park Plaza Hotel wedding featured on The Black Tie Bride. Dan and Julie are amazing and we could not have been happier to be their St Louis Wedding Photographers.

Dan’s first look: “That’s not exactly a soup question.”
Julie’s first look: “I knew Dan was handsome but holy cow did he take my breath away in that Tuxedo!”
I am head over heels for Julie’s Adrianna Pappel wedding gown from Nordstrom.
Groom’s most memorable moment: “Kissing my new wife!”
Bride’s most memorable moment: “Kissing my new husband after we said our vows!”
Advice for Bride to Be :
Julie: “Don’t sweat the small stuff! The baby grand piano was such a beautiful touch to our wedding. Jackson Piano’s in STL is the greatest find ever!”
