Molly & Justin’s Downtown St Louis Wedding at Moulin Events Wedding Venue by St Louis Wedding Photographers.

For late November, the day was exceptionally warm without a cloud in sight. The welcome warmth of the sun made the champagne colored silk of  Molly’s Paloma Blanca dress glow just slightly. So as Justin waited patiently, moments before their “first look”, an intimate suspense built. Justin turned to see his Bride and his smile grew with an irrepressible sincerity. Molly’s steps quickened and Justin met her for a few moments of calm shared together amidst a day both hectic and beautiful.

New Town St Charles provided the perfect backdrop for romantic outdoor winter wedding photography.

The perfect moment after the first look between the Bride & Groom:

Describe your “First Look” :

Molly : ” The first time I saw Justin it made my heart race. I know I had the biggest grin on my face, he looked so handsome! I was simply ecstatic for our life together to start. “

Justin : “Our first look was wonderful. The sun was warm, the air cool, and a light breeze played with the trees. As i heard her get out of the limo, my heart raced with anticipation. Each step of hers i heard, made my heart beat faster with each step as she drew closer. It took everything I had to not turn around early, but when I did ,I was well rewarded. Before me stood the most angelic woman I had ever seen. If there were such a thing as perfection on this earth, I was beholding it in front of my very eyes! I still found it hard to believe that I was the man she had chosen to be with. It was one of those few moments in life where I had nothing to say. All I could do was smile with the deepest happiness I’ve ever felt.”

The exposed brick walls, high ceilings and arched windows, which offered a fantastic view of The Arch and Downtown St Louis, made Moulin Events Wedding Venue the perfect wedding reception venue for Molly & Justin’s romantic evening. 

Molly & Justin had the cutest guest book. Wooden hearts to write the bride & groom a message and sign your name.

What was the most memorable moment of the day for you?

Molly : “At our reception I was standing off to the side of the dance floor alone. As I was taking it all in, I saw all our loved ones together. Justin’s dear friend holding my friend’s baby, childhood friends of ours taking pictures together in the photobooth, all around new friendships forming. Our friends & family from over ten different states were enjoying themselves together. It was endearing to see the start of our former two separate worlds becoming one. I’ll cherish that moment forever!  “

Justin : “I think the most memorable moment for me was when we entered the reception for the first time as a couple. It was an entrance into a new stage of our lives together. To hear the applause of our family and friends from so many different states; to see the glow on Molly’s face, her gorgeous dress, and the happiness in her eyes; to feel the warmth of the exquisitely decorated reception hall; it all culminated in this priceless, beautiful memory that will forever reside in my mind.”

Advice for Brides-to-be:

Molly : “I feel the better you plan, the more you will enjoy your wedding day. But most of all, cherish the little moments. Thats what you will remember forever about this time in you & your fiance’s life!”
