How do you choose the location for your engagement session? Mirena Umizaj is a serious Boss Lady, with her own law firm, a fashionista but always keeps it classy. If you’re a fan of Shark Tank, you may have seen Phil Dumas on an episode with the UniKey, a bluetooth door lock.
This Power Couple lives in Orlando and we live outside Naples, and so we agreed to meet in the middle for their engagement photos. We discussed Sarasota, Florida and immediately, The Ringling Museum came to mind. Once we arrived, Phil mentioned that this location was extra special, because his parents met when they were in college at The Ringling College. That added even more meaning to this amazing location.

After delivering the engagement gallery, Mirena said: “It’s like looking at our union from the outside and realizing how lucky we are to have what we have. It makes sense why people say we look so happy. You captured that and so much more!!!”
That statement was an incredible reminder to us that an image can open out eyes.

“Our paths crossed four years ago at a mutual friend’s birthday dinner in Orlando. We didn’t stay in touch and life took over. Two years went by and we were reconnected by the same mutual friend, Victoria, who is very dear to both of us. We met at the Jupiter Beach Resort, the place we are now getting married at, because why not?! 
The stars aligned the evening of November 28, 2016, and we felt a pull to each other like we had never felt before. It was a mysterious trance that continues to build every day and it is hard to describe how beautifully that weekend unfolded. We spent hours on the beach talking about life, family and work and we both left feeling like we had encountered something very special. And we had. We had encountered deep, spiritual and unconditional love. The type of love you see in movies and hear in songs. People tell us how happy we look and they are right.”
