 Ty’Eshia & Alain live in Miami, FL. We were therefore very excited to be meeting them and having our fist photographic experience via their engagement session!

Right away I noticed their big happy smiles and exuberance. I knew we were going to have a great session with this couple! After reading their story, how they met and fell in love,  it is very easy to see why.

Originally we planned our shoot at The City Museum, which seemed like a great idea at the time of planning. Stay indoors, it’s freezing in St Louis in December! But this unusual Friday afternoon in December was lit up by a clear blue sky with temperatures in the 50’s! We definitely had to take advantage of the unseasonable beautiful weather, so after a little discussion with our clients we were headed to Downtown St Louis starting with The Arch Grounds.

Featured here are just a few of the great shots we got with this phenomenal Couple.

Their wedding will be here in St Louis this May at Windows On Washington, we can hardly wait!

How did you two met: 

“We met freshmen year of undergrad at Eastern Illinois University, but there is some controversy about where we actually first met each other.”

 Ty: “We first met in our first Chemistry Lab because my friend, Sam, scouted Alain out. One day, I got the courage to talk to Alain because we asked him a question about one of the class assignments.  Ever since then he has been the “proton to my electron”. “

Alain: “Now for the true version. We really met in a class called Animal Diversity. I saw her the first day of class and knew right away that she was a very interesting person and that I had to get to know her better. The next day I got to class extremely early. I sat next to the seat she sat in the previous day in hopes that she would again sit there for class. Ty did end up sitting there again, and obviously I had the right koalafications.”

How you knew he/she was the one:

Alain : “At some point fairly early on, I realized I don’t care where I am or what I am doing as long as Ty is by my side. Ty holds all of the qualities of the perfect companion. She became my best friend instantly and it is only natural that we would be together for the rest of our lives. She is simply the “one” for me.”

Ty : “I don’t think there has been one day or event that made Alain “the one”. Over our 6 years of dating, I have seen Alain’s ambition, honesty and compassion. Through our love and commitment to one another we have strengthened our relationship to make it perfect. I cannot picture my life without him.”

What Ty loves about Alain:

“I love that Alain has such a good heart and soul. If anyone knows Alain, you know that he just brings out the best in everyone. He is supportive, appreciative, hard working and extremely fun. But, most of all, I love that when I come into the room, I am his number one priority and he shows me by running over with a huge kiss and smile.”

What Alain loves about Ty:

“I love everything about Ty! I love her caring nurturing personality, how she is always the brightest person in the room, and her radiant smile! The list goes on and on and I will forever love her.”
