It was cold. Very, very cold. Yet, Ben and Debbie hardly seemed to notice. They probably did notice the icy wind carving a frigid edge through the air, but they were more focused on each other. Back at the very spot where Ben had gotten down on one knee and asked Debbie to be his wife, perhaps it was the memory of the last time they were there, with much warmer autumn air and the excitement of the proposal that was keeping them warm. Or perhaps just the opportunity for a few stolen moments of holding each other close.
The Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, MO provide a most beautiful backdrop to pictures anytime of year. Still . . . afterward we warmed up at one of our favorite coffee shops! It was so nice just relaxing, enjoying something warm and getting to know Ben + Debbie as a couple.
Congratulations on your engagement! We can’t wait for your March wedding!
Debbie’s engagement ring is beautiful, isn’t it?! Good job Ben!

Wow! You did an beautiful job Amanda. I had a lot of fun that day (despite the cold), and I have absolutely no complaints about the whole thing. I really love them. I really really look forward to our wedding pictures.
Very nice Amanda! Really like the black and white photos, and even the one of Ben laughing. I can almost hear him when looking at it 🙂 Despite the cold, you really captured the special bond between these two very special people!!
I’m so glad everyone loves the pictures! Thank you for all of the kind words.
So sweet! What great pictures of two people so adorably perfect for each other 🙂
