In the Dominican Republic the Rio Chavón implacably flows into the Caribbean Sea. These two separate aquatic features at some indeterminate point become not two, but one inseparable and beautiful body of water. It was not without meaning then when these geographical components became the canvas for the Wedding of Anthony and Olivia.

We met Olivia at Molly and Justin’s St Louis wedding in 2013, at which point, Anthony and Olivia were not yet an item. The intervening time, however, contained unanticipated changes for our now dear couple. In that time an easy friendship formed, leading to a romantic spark, ushering in a dramatic proposal on the Dominicus Pier in the Dominican Republic. Olivia’s heartfelt “yes”, was then accompanied by an intimate celebration with family secretly flown in for the occasion.

For these two, the Caribbean Sea had never been as blue and beautiful as it was that day.

So, it was with more than a little excitement that everyone gathered from wildly differing places like St Louis, England, and even some great friends from Scotland, all to the Dominican Republic for the Wedding of Anthony and Olivia.
