The Love Story:

In April 2017, my mom headed to Colombia to help plan my older sister’s wedding. Afterwards, I remember her telling me about this guy she met, named Nicolas. She said he was a friend of Oscar’s who did triathlons. She kept telling me, “I wish you all could meet, you would be perfect for each other.” I thought to myself, yea yea whatever, I don’t live in Colombia, and I was focused on my career and school. Nico added me on Instagram and Facebook and would occasionally message me, but I didn’t think much of it. 

Fast forward to my sister’s wedding in June 2017: Nico was there, and we found each other on the dance floor. I gave him a hug and was so happy to meet him in person! We then danced and spent the whole night on the roof talking. The next day, it was time to head our separate ways…I thought. But Nico came with us to Mesa de Los Santos, and we again spent some time hanging out and talking. As the evening rolled around, Nico had to leave to go back home; we said our goodbyes and I told him maybe I would see him in Florida sometime for triathlons. I never thought I would see him again, but the next day he texted to say he was coming to Florida the next month for a triathlon. I made plans to be in Florida too, and we got to see each other again! We went on our first date at Sanibel beach..and the rest is history <3

We’re so happy we got to know Kelsey + Nicolas at their Naples Florida Beach Engagement Photo Session. The sunset was just perfection at Seagate Beach in Naples that evening. The water was so calm and cool, it was begging us all to get in for a few fun photos. We can’t wait for their wedding in Fort Myers at the beautiful White Orchid at Oasis.
