Ann & Philip – Married
We first met Ann and Philip for their consultation at a Kaldi’s Coffee in the Central West End of Saint Louis. One macchiato and a giant peanut butter cookie in, and we knew we wanted to be their wedding photographers. We love when we meet with potential clients, and before we say goodbye, we already feel like we are with friends.
As you scroll through their peacock blue, sage green and champagne wedding, we hope you enjoy reading a little about them and their wedding day in St. Louis as well.
How did you meet: “We interviewed for our PhD program at the same time.”
How did he propose: “Phil “hijacked” a night out with my friend. He had a picnic in Forest Park with all my favorite foods and flowers in my favorite colors 🙂 He was so nervous but he pulled it off! He proposed right before we went on a big vacation in Hawaii with my family.”
How did you personalize your wedding?: “Our guestbook was a photo book of our honeymoon destination in Santorini and Athens, Greece.”
Advice for Brides-to-be: “Have a sense of humor and an open mind because the day never goes exactly as planned — the best parts will be the surprises. Write each other notes before the first look (a common practice but easy to forget!). Research and pick your vendors carefully — they really make the day!”
