“Crazy, but I guess you could say it was love at first sight!” – Brittany
Enter: Highschool. Chris was a Junior, he was on the football team. Brittany was a freshman, she was on the volleyball team. The school year was rapidly drawing to a close with long summer days approaching. Despite their busy schedules Chris asks her out. The first date goes very well, but Chris was too nervous to call for a second date. Brittany patiently waits one week…
They set up for a second date. Then a third, fourth, fifth and so on.
Chris and Brittany felt comfortable with each other and loved spending time together. They even enjoyed being with each other’s family and friends. When things click like that, you don’t ignore it.
Chris and Brittany have been together for almost 10 years! We are really looking forward to being part of their Wedding day.
This engagement session, in Nashville IL, was a study in timing.
The engagement session was planned weeks in advance but the day of began with precipitation, wind and cold. Why do we see no rainy gray photos? Because the weather cleared mere hours before the session, leaving it a bit blustery, but with beautiful lighting and a picturesque sky.
The opportune timing culminated in a fiery sunset at the outskirts of Nashville, we just pulled over and started shooting. Open sky, a fun couple, and enthusiastic passersby waving and honking as we worked. It seemed everybody was excited about Chris and Brittney’s upcoming Winter Wedding.
